The Communion Priest Offering Communion shows a priest giving the bread of Communion to a member of the laity. It symbolizes how Christ offered His broken body to us without requiring any effort on our part. Just as this person merely has to receive the bread, so Christ's followers merely have to accept His sacrifice.
