Graduation Ceremony depicts a scene of a young, black woman receiving her diploma from an elderly, Caucasian man. Both wear black robes and caps, the woman's cap bearing a gold tassel on the right. Both appear to be in good spirits, the woman smiling as she shakes the man's hand.
