Gift of God in Ecclesiastes
God as the father wants all of his children to enjoy all the good things he offers. He wants us to eat good food, enjoy good people and also enjoy the fruits of our labor. The Scripture used says, "I know that nothing is better for them than to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor-- it is the gift of God." (Ecclesiastes 2:12)
