The importance of a good foundation is known today as it was in the time of Christ. Everything rests upon the foundation. Without foundational integrity, whatever is built on it will be challenged. In ancient times, the cornerstone was the most important piece of foundation. The meaning behind this statement is that Jesus is what people need to build their lives upon. With him, beautiful things can be built without the risk of being easily destroyed.
