In the beginning, Calvary Chapel Bible College was a short, intensive study program, created as a support ministry of Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa. Today, the college shares 47 acres of the former Murrieta Hot Springs Resort with a conference center, which ensures tuition remains below that of comparable institutions.
CCBC emphasizes teaching the Bible verse-by-verse. Its president, Pastor Chuck Smith, is heard nationwide, daily on The Word for Today radio program and is the author of many books and videos.
