You may use any downloaded art and templates forever, but when your subscription expires, you will no longer be able to download new materials from our site Click here to start your free trial!!! Q: How does the 14 day free trial work? A: You get access to our collection of images for 14 days, free of charge. Test drive FaithClipart.com just like a full member. For example, - No watermarks on the images. - Try the Design Center. - Even download 3 images or 3 Design Center projects. Click here to start your free trial!!! PLEASE NOTE: We do limit the 14 day free trial to 3 downloads. So it works much like a car warranty, 14 days or 3 downloads, whichever comes first. Once that limit is reached, you can fully subscribe to receive unlimited access to FaithClipart.com, including unlimited downloads of the images and Design Center projects. Q: I am having trouble registering for the free trial. Can you help? A: There are a number of things that could be wrong. First, make sure you have entered all the required information on the registration page. For People Outside the US and Canada, enter "INTL" (for international) from the drop down menu in the State field. If you have entered any of the required information incorrectly, you should receive a red error message, telling you where your mistake is. If you aren't receiving any errors when you press continue, but it won't go on to the next step, the likely cause is that cookies are not enabled in your web browser. Be sure to enable them in the options of your web browser. If you do not know how to enable cookies in your web browser, we would encourage you to contact the manufacturer of the browser, or use a search engine to locate exactly how to enable them (An example of using a search engine to locate the information could be typing "enabling cookies in Internet Explorer" in the search box at Yahoo.com). Something else that you may want to try is to create a free e-mail account at either www.hotmail.com (Microsoft's free e-mail), www.yahoomail.com (Yahoo.com's free e-mail), or www.gmail.com (Google.com's free e-mail) and try signing up with that. They are free and are the most popular free e-mail accounts available. Also, downloading Mozilla Firefox (if you are using a different web browser) from www.getfirefox.com is a great option. It is free and could solve your issue. Q: If it's a free trial, why do you need my credit card information? A: We ask for the credit card information up front in the trial only to confirm that you are able to pay for our services (should you choose to do so), and to make sure you are actually a real person rather than a computer generated hacker program. We do not charge anything to your credit card until your trial is over (which is automatic unless cancelled), but you are able to cancel the trial if you wish. The only other instance of your credit card possibly being charged is if you click on a 'subscribe now' button and follow the steps. That will instantly activate your full subscription membership and bill the credit card right away. You might see a $1 dollar charge when you first sign up for the trial; this is only to make sure the credit card exists. Once the card is confirmed as real, the $1 charge is removed from the card. PLEASE NOTE: If you do see a temporary $1 dollar charge, it will show up on your online banking statement from FaithClipart.com's parent company Letters And Arts, Inc. Q: What happens after the free trial time ends? A: Once the free trial ends, the supplied credit card will automatically be charged for the current subscription rate according to the Terms of the program. PLEASE NOTE: The charge from www.FaithClipart.com will show up on your banking statement from FaithClipart.com's parent company Letters And Arts, Inc. Since this process is automated, the trial must be cancelled prior to the automated transaction in order to avoid the charge. If you wish to cancel the trial membership and purchase full subscription access, simply click on the "Cancel My Free Trial" option positioned directly under the Subscribe Now button located on the My Home page. Once you do that, just follow the steps and your account will be cancelled. You will also receive an e-mail confirmation of the cancellation. If you are having trouble with the cancellation button, feel free to send us a cancellation request to Cancel@WeddingClipart.com and we will reply back to your message. Be sure to check your spam box for the response if you do not see it in your inbox. Q: How do I bypass the Free Trial and activate my subscription right away? A: If you would like to bypass the remaining Free Trial time and get your full subscription started instantly, all you need to do is follow these steps: 1) Click on the My Home tab on the top of www.FaithClipart.com. 2) Enter your current FaithClipart.com login details. 3) Click on the "Subscribe Now" button on the right side near the remaining trial time. 4) Once that is clicked on, you will be shown a message that explains the billing information and notifies you that Billing is immediate. PLEASE NOTE: The charge from www.FaithClipart.com will show up on your banking statement from FaithClipart.com's parent company Letters And Arts, Inc. 5) Confirm and authorize the transaction by clicking on the next "Subscribe Now" button. Once you do that, you should receive notification of the upgrade to the full member status and be taken back to the My Home page. Here you will see your current expiration date where the remaining trial time was originally. Please e-mail us if you still have difficulty with getting your account fully active at Contact@FaithClipart.com. Q: How do I cancel the free trial? A: Easy! All you have to do is click on the "Cancel My Free Trial" option positioned directly under the Subscribe Now button located on the My Home page. Once you do that, just follow the steps and your account will be cancelled. You will also receive an e-mail confirmation of the cancellation. If you are having trouble with the cancellation button, feel free to send us a cancellation request to Cancel@FaithClipart.com and we will reply back to your message. Be sure to check your spam box for the response if you do not see it in your inbox. Q: How do I change my e-mail address and password? A: Easy! Click on the 'My Home' tab on the top of the screen (once you are logged in) and click on the 'account info' icon to the right of your name. Once you do that you will be taken to another screen that will display all of the current information that we have on file. If you wish to change your e-mail or password, simply click on the 'edit' button under that section and follow the steps. Remember that your password and e-mail address are case-sensitive when you use them to log in, so be sure to keep that in mind if you change them. You also have the ability to update your name and address that we have on file by clicking on the 'edit' button under that section as well. Q: How much is a subscription to FaithClipart.com? A: Currently, a subscription to FaithClipart.com is $99.95 for an entire year of downloading as many images as you would like for either personal or church non-commercial use. If you are interested in what you are able to do with the images once you subscribe, please visit the Terms Of Use. Q: Does your site have any per-image fees? A: No. Once you purchase a subscription to our site, you may download as many images as you wish without any additional fees. This is a much more flexible system than charging a per-image fee, because you can download and preview as many actual images as you wish before deciding on your final image. During the trial, you may download a limited amount of images total, also without any charge per image. Q: What forms of payment do you accept? A: We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover Card, and American Express. We will also accept checks if you do not have access to a credit card. For a mail order form, or for other payment possibilities, please contact the customer service department at contact@FaithClipart.com. Q: Can foreign customers located outside the USA purchase subscriptions at your site? A: Yes. Because we use credit cards for purchases on our site, customers from any country can purchase subscriptions on our site and your credit card company will automatically convert our US Dollar prices into your local currency. If you wish to see in advance what the current conversion rate is, you can use a currency converter web site, such as the following site: http://www.xe.com/ucc/. Remember that currency conversion programs are just approximate because currency values often fluctuate every minute, so we encourage you to contact your banking institution for an exact rate. The actual conversion rate used by your credit card company will vary slightly so we encourage you to contact your banking institution for an exact rate. Our registration page asks for what state you live in. If you don't live in the USA, probably won't find your state/province listed there. There is an option that says INTL for international; just select that and the proper country and you're off!!! Q: What is the FaithClipart.com Automatic Renewal Service? A: Your FaithClipart.com subscription lasts for one year. As part of the FaithClipart.com Automatic Renewal Service, your subscription automatically renews for one year by charging the regular renewal subscription fee to your credit or debit card upon expiration of your current subscription. You consented to this feature during your subscription registration. You do not need to do anything! You will receive a courtesy advanced notice 30 days prior to renewal. Once the payment has been processed, we will send a confirmation e-mail summarizing the charges applied, and you will receive an additional 12 months of access. If you wish to turn off the automatic renewal feature, please send an e-mail to non-renew@FaithClipart.com prior to that expiration date and we will disable that function for you. For more information, please visit the Terms Of Use. PLEASE NOTE: The charge from www.FaithClipart.com will show up on your banking statement from FaithClipart.com's parent company Letters And Arts, Inc. Q: Does FaithClipart.com offer refunds? A: No. Because our images can be easily downloaded and copied, we have no way of controlling whether or not someone who requests a refund has already downloaded and used many images. This is part of the reason we started the Free Trial. In certain circumstances, we might consider issuing a refund, but at our own discretion. Q: What sort of art styles are used in your images? A: The images created for FaithClipart.com are intended to address a variety of art styles and needs. You will find significant groups of images drawn in the following major art styles: photorealistic, expressionistic, impressionistic, and various modern illustrative styles. You will also find hundreds of elegant, monotone line art images. Q: Will I find your images for sale or available for download anywhere else? A: Absolutely not. All images available on FaithClipart.com were created as unique images available only on our site. Unlike many other clip art sites which simply license existing collections or repurpose old copyright-free images, you will not see FaithClipart.com images anywhere else except on our site. Q: Your photorealistic images look so real...they must be photos, right? A: No, all images were drawn as original vector images so that they can be scaled and printed at any resolution, even the photorealistic images. The only photos in our collection are photo backgrounds that were actually taken with a digital camera, and consequently are only available as a JPG downloadable format. All of the other images were created as original vector based EPS images. Q: Why should I buy your graphics when I can get images like this for free on the Web? A: For many reasons. First, you will not find any of our images available anywhere else. Secondly, all of our images are available in a vector-based format, which means they can be scaled and printed at any resolution and still look perfect. Thirdly, our images were created by professional artists and you will not find a higher-quality image collection anywhere. Finally, and most importantly, the vast majority of "free" images you find on the web do not grant you proper permission to use them. In fact, most "free" clipart sites have no authority or right to provide someone else's artwork at all. If you use an image without the proper permission from the artist or publisher, then you have violated the law. By subscribing to ChristmasTimeClipart.com, we have taken care of all permissions for you, which allows you to use our images in any personal or commercial project according to our Terms Of Use. Q: Do you take suggestions for new images or site enhancements? A: Yes, in fact we strongly encourage suggestions! Please email us at: contact@FaithClipart.com. Q: How many images are in your site? A: The number of images in FaithClipart.com increases every month. Each month, and sometimes on a weekly basis, new images are added to the site to increase the collection. There are thousands of already present images currently available on the site, and that number is always growing. There is no way to view all of the images in a single search, since images are organized by subject-related keywords. Q: How do I find images in your site? A: You can find any image in FaithClipart.com by using our fast Search feature to hunt for images based on your keywords. The more specific your keywords are, the more likely you will find exactly what you are looking for. If you don't find a suitable image, try using synonyms, more general keywords, or more specific keywords. You can also use the Browse feature, located next to each Search button, to look for pre-indexed images organized by subject. All related keywords for each image are listed and actively linked when you view the details of any image. Q: Can I view your images before purchasing a subscription? A: Yes. We are currently offering a free trial at www.faithclipart.com. This will allow you to download a set number of images before you actually purchase a subscription! Click here to start your free trial!!! Even before that, you can search or browse the site. Our entire image collection is available via the Home page. The search results you'll get are identical to those you'll see as a paying customer. However, downloading is available only when you sign up for the trial and full subscription. If you have a specific question about a particular image, please email contact@FaithClipart.com. Q: Does your site provide fonts to download? A: We do not provide entire fonts per se; however we provide an extensive collection of pre-made word art using very customized fonts which often are only found on our site. We may provide entire fonts in the future. There are literally thousands of great fonts available elsewhere on the Web which are relatively easy and inexpensive to use. First try using a search engine to look for "free fonts". There are whole web sites devoted to providing free fonts. If you don't find exactly what you're looking for amongst the free fonts of the world, consider purchasing an inexpensive font collection from your local software retailer. For example, Broderbund has a nice collection with over 1000 fonts in it, called Clickart Fonts 2. This collection often sells for under $10. Other vendors also offer thousands of fonts for very low prices. If you absolutely can not find the right font from amongst the free fonts and the inexpensive fonts, there are thousands of more expensive fonts you can choose from. Adobe is the most well known provider of expensive fonts, including many beautiful script fonts. For 99% of people, there is no practical difference between inexpensive fonts and expensive fonts, other than the name of the vendor who sells them. Q: Do I get unlimited access to your site during my subscription? A: Yes, however, you may not download more than 100 images within a 24 hour period once you become a paying member (during the trial, you cannot exceed the free trial limit). This policy was instituted as a security measure only after widespread attempts by hackers to download our entire image library. You may search and browse through as many images as you wish, for as long as you wish; however, this limit applies only to those images you actually download to your computer. After 24 hours elapses, you may download another 100 images. If you find yourself up against the download limit and have a critical need for a few more downloads, we'll try to help if you send an email to contact@FaithClipart.com. Q: Does your site offer free images or templates? A: No. If you reached our site via the results of a search engine keyword search for "free clipart" it simply means that our site ranks very high for your keywords even without the word "free". Also, please be advised that there is really no such thing as "free clipart". Virtually all clipart on "free clipart" sites has been stolen, intentionally or naively. The notable exceptions are very specific sites run by very specific artists who wish to provide some free samples of their work, and sites whose owners have carefully acquired original, pre-1920 images whose copyrights have expired. Even most "public domain art" (art which is not copyrighted by U.S. law anymore because it was created before 1920) is illegally posted on "free clipart" sites because it is scanned in from contemporary books (such as those by Dover Publications) whose own illustrators have touched up and edited the images considerably and thus created their own copyright. Use of clipart from "free clipart" sites is often illegal, not to mention unethical. Q: Is it possible to change the colors in your clipart after it is downloaded? A: Yes. In fact, an innate aspect of graphics in general is the ability to change them as you see fit. So yes, any graphic in our collection can have its colors altered. Of course, to edit a graphic requires some knowledge of image editing programs such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. You are on your own to acquire the proper knowledge to edit images as you need, and if you run into problems using image editing software, you need to contact the manufacturer for that product. And while we're happy to steer you in the right direction, we're still going to encourage you to learn how to use the necessary editing tools yourself. Picking up a good entry-level book about image editing is a great way to get up to speed on editing graphics without any prior knowledge. There is a wealth of knowledge on the Internet about editing graphics with various software. Here are a few tutorials for some common image editing software: Adobe Photoshop http://www.pslover.com Microsoft Publisher Microsoft's Tutorial Adobe Illustrator N-Design Studio's tutorial General Graphics Wikipedia Entry Q: Can I use a word processor to create my own printed materials using FaithClipart.com graphics? A: Yes. Graphic artists use programs like Adobe Illustrator to create professional printed materials using FaithClipart.com images, but if you are unfamiliar with such vector-editing programs, you may find they have a relatively steep learning curve. Microsoft Word provides all of the features one needs to easily create and print beautiful materials; however the Picture toolbar's controls and some of the other image editing features are not intuitive or generally known by casual word processing users. Getting to know the Picture toolbar in Word will be critical if you want to combine borders and text. In particular, you'll need to feel comfortable with the Picture Format and Text Wrapping controls. For further assistance with using graphics in Microsoft Word, the Microsoft Office help page has a great deal of information on it. You can also do a Google search for whatever you are having trouble with and can usually find a great deal of other helpful sites. Q: What image file formats do you provide? A: EPS, JPG, PNG, and DOC (Microsoft Word). All of the images on FaithClipart.com were originally drawn as vector-based graphics so that they can be scaled to any size and any resolution. The JPG file format is a popular bitmap image format, compatible with almost any graphics program or website project. All JPG images are saved on a white background. The PNG format provides transparency in a bitmap graphic (no white background), making it great for layering images. If you need an image for a website, interactive project, or print materials you plan to print yourself, the PNG format should be perfect. The DOC (Microsoft Word) file format allows you to open any image directly in Microsoft Word. All images are scaled to an 8.5 x 11 page. The EPS file format is the professional standard for vector-based art. Vector art is special because it can be scaled to any size with no loss of resolution or quality. In other words, you won't get any of the 'graininess' you can sometimes run across when resizing a small image to a larger size. If you need professional quality for your designs, EPS is the gold standard. Examples include offset printing, high-resolution printing, sign making and more. With these 4 file formats, you should be able to use FaithClipart.com images in virtually any application which supports graphics. For more information on vector and bitmap graphics, see below. Q: What is the difference between vector and bitmap graphics? A: FaithClipart.com provides both vector (EPS) and bitmap (JPG) file formats for all images. Vector and bitmap graphics are the two major 2D graphic types. Bitmap graphics are rasterized images with fixed resolutions where the file is saved as a series of pixels. Common bitmap file types include PICT, TIF, GIF, BMP, and JPG. Because of their fixed resolutions, bitmap images may not look ideal when printed, especially if they are resized, although they are usually easy to import and manipulate in almost any application. Vector graphics are resolution-independent images which are saved as geometric data. Common file types for vector images include EPS, WMP, and AI. Because vector images are resolution independent, they will look great at any printed resolution no matter how they are resized. Editing vector images usually requires more software savvy because of the tricky bezier curve interface used by most vector editing programs. In offering JPG and EPS formats, we provide the best and most flexible formats of bitmap and vector images for printing purposes. For further information, you might check out the Bitmap and Vector Graphic Formats tutorial at About.com, or for some historical perspective as well, check out Wikipedia's article on Clip Art. Q: What applications allow me to use EPS images? A: Most common office and graphic arts programs support EPS images, although some programs allow you to only place and orient EPS images, rather than actually edit them. Microsoft Office products allow you to import and orient EPS images, as do all Adobe and Macromedia graphics products, such as Adobe Illustrator or Macromedia FreeHand. Note that EPS images may be opened in some bitmap-based image editors, such as Adobe Photoshop, but the vector data will be rasterized and lost. To perform significant edits on EPS images, you need a vector-based image editing program, such as Illustrator or FreeHand. Q: What applications allow me to use JPG images? A: All graphics software created in the last 5 years supports this format, as do all programs which allow you to import graphics. If you have an application which does not support the JPG file format, but supports other graphics file formats, you should first see if a newer version of your application supports the JPG file format. If your application still does not support the JPG file format, you can easily convert the JPG file to another file format use a variety of free or commercial applications. There are many good free or shareware applications which convert JPG files to other file formats including: Mac Users: http://www.lemkesoft.com/ Windows Users: http://www.flydragonsoft.com/ Q: What sort of settings were used to save the FaithClipart.com EPS images? A: All FaithClipart.com images were saved to be compatible with the Adobe Illustrator 9.0 EPS specifications. Most images are also compatible with Macromedia FreeHand 8.X, or later, and even earlier versions of these products. FaithClipart.com EPS images may contain RGB or CMYK data, or both, and it is easy to switch back and forth between the two. FaithClipart.com EPS images were saved with a Macintosh-compatible 8-bit thumbnail graphic. Q: What sort of settings were used to save the FaithClipart.com JPG images? A: Each JPG image fills an 8.5" by 11" page at 72 dpi and was saved with as little compression as possible (10), so these images can be printed and scaled down for many uses. If the printed resolution of a JPG image does not suit your purposes, you can download and use the EPS version, which will print out at any resolution and any scale. However, note that use of EPS images may require you to use a different image editing/layout program than you used for your JPG image. If you want EPS images to print out at the highest resolution possible, it's important to make sure the EPS image retains its vector data and is not rasterized into a bitmap image. Q: Why are some of the EPS image file sizes so big? A: Although most FaithClipart.com EPS images are well under 1 MB in size, some of the photorealistic and highly detailed images are much bigger. This is simply because more detail requires more file size. If you have trouble downloading a large EPS file, please contact us at contact@FaithClipart.com. Note that EPS images are often much smaller in size once they have been saved to a native file format in a vector-based image editor program. Q: What does it mean to "rasterize" an image? A: To "rasterize" an image means to convert a vector-based image to a bitmapped image. During this process, the mathematical formulas and geometric objects which make up a vector image are converted into groups of dots, using a specific resolution. Once a vector file has been rasterized as a bitmap image, the resolution can not be changed without affecting the quality of the image. Resizing a bitmapped image will affect its resolution and the quality of the printed material. Ideally, all images destined to be printed should be manipulated as vector images, since vector images are resolution-independent (and will print out at the highest possible resolution your software and printer support). A rasterized image is the same thing as a bitmapped image. Q: What is the difference between images on FaithClipart.com and GIF images found on other clipart web sites? A: It's important to realize that GIF images are not designed for print materials, making them less than ideal for printed related uses. The GIF file format was designed for displaying simple, 256-color graphics on a computer screen at 72 dots per inch (dpi). You can certainly print out GIF files if you want, however you will see artifacts around the edges of the images and graininess within the images, especially if you scale the image at all. Since most printers use a minimum dpi of over 300, and professional typesetters usually print at over 1000 dpi, a GIF image is vastly underutilizing the resolution of all printers. Considering the facts that printers support millions of colors, while GIF images can only contain a maximum of 256, GIF images are one of the least desirable image file formats for any print projects. The GIF file format in general is not a good file format for clipart because it limits the user so much. Because GIF images can not be printed out with any decent resolution, because they can not be scaled well, and because their practical uses are limited, GIF images are relatively cheap to purchase as clipart. By contrast, all of the clipart available on FaithClipart.com is available in resolution-independent formats, which means they will print out crisp and clear, with millions of colors, at any resolution. In short, the EPS and JPG file formats are vastly superior to the GIF format for the purposes of clip art, and provide dramatically better printing resolution. Q: Do FaithClipart.com images have a transparent background? A: Yes. All EPS images include a transparent background, by default, and all FaithClipart.com images are provided in this file format. Usually, a transparent background is only an issue if you are editing an image in PhotoShop or some other image editing program. If this is the case, simply open the EPS image in Photoshop and it will be imported into a new layer with a transparent background. Or, if you are familiar with vector editing programs such as Illustrator, you can alter the background without having to rasterize the image. JPG versions of images cannot contain transparent backgrounds because of restrictions in the JPEG file format. Q: What resolution are the FaithClipart.com images? A: FaithClipart.com images are available at ANY resolution you require. All FaithClipart.com images are available to members in the EPS file format, which is resolution independent. This means that EPS images will look detailed, crisp and clean at any printed resolution, ranging from those supported by home inkjet printers all the way up to professional typesetters. Q: Why can't I open some of your images with CorelDraw? A: Recent versions of CorelDraw, including CorelDraw11 and later, will not, in the vast majority of cases, successfully open an EPS file saved with Adobe Illustrator 9 or 10 compatibility. CorelDraw also does not properly handle EPS images which contain transparencies. Since all of our EPS files are saved as standard EPS files with Adobe Illustrator 10 compatibility, or lower, this means many of our EPS files will not open in CorelDraw as is. The solution is to open and save an EPS file in a format which is better handled by CorelDraw. You can download a free trial version of the latest version of Adobe Illustrator from Adobe.com. For most of our images, simply opening the file in the latest version of Adobe Illustrator and saving it as a native Illustrator 9 or 10 (.ai) file will create a file which can be opened by CorelDraw11 or later. Some of our EPS files require the transparency layers to be flattened and then saved to a file which can be opened by CorelDraw. To do this, open the EPS file in the most recent version of Adobe Illustrator and follow these steps (actual step names may vary from version to version): 1. Select All 2. Choose "Flatten Transparency" from the Object menu 3. Make sure the slider control for "Vector/Raster Balance" is moved as far right as possible, so that you flatten with 100% vectors. This will retain the highest resolution possible. 4. Save the file as a native Illustrator (.ai) file with all the default settings intact. If you get a warning dialog concerning "spot colors", ignore it and proceed. Q: Can I create my own templates and printed materials in Microsoft Word? A: Yes. All of our border and image graphics can be imported into Word '97 or later to create custom designs and can be added to a creation you are working on. However, there are a few caveats. Word does not allow you to edit most graphics, other than resizing and (in later versions) rotating. Word supports both of the image file formats we use, JPG and EPS, however it's EPS support is problem-prone when dealing with complex images, since Word only partially supports the EPS file format. You should not have any problems importing JPG images into Word, although your printed results, in most cases, will be better if you use an EPS format of the image. Q: How do I sign up for an account on FaithClipart.com? A: Easy!! Just use our registration form and fill in all the necessary information. Right now, we are offering a free trial at www.faithclipart.com, so you can try out our site to see if it fits your needs. We do ask for credit card information up front in order to confirm that you are able to pay for our services. We do not charge you until your trial ends or unless you click on a 'subscribe now button'. Click here to start your free trial!!! Q: How do I access my account after I have signed up? A: On every page of our site, near the upper right corner, is a link to the Login page. Click this to enter the email address and password you registered when you signed up for a trial subscription. Once you are logged in, you can search our entire image database, view large thumbnails, and download any JPG or EPS graphic or template you want. Q: How long does it take to start downloading? A: You receive instant access when you sign up for the free trial. Once you find an image you like, using either our fast search engine or by browsing through categories, you simply click the image thumbnail, then click the Download link next to the file format you wish to save the image in. Remember that during the free trial, you are limited to how many images you can download (see 'How does the free trial work?' link located under the 'Free Trial Specifics' section located at the top of this page for more information). Q: I can't log into my account. What's wrong? A: Login problems are usually caused by a variety of simple problems. Here are the top few: 1. Your login (email address) and password are case sensitive. You must enter them EXACTLY the same way you did when your account was created. If you suspect that you had a typo in the email address you registered, please contact contact@FaithClipart.com. If there was a typo in the password you entered (twice), see #2 below. If both the email address and password you registered contain typos, you must contact contact@FaithClipart.com to have the information edited. 2. If you are getting a "Wrong password. Click ? for help." message when you try to Login, this means your email address was recognized, but your password was not. This is usually due to a typo in your password, either when you initially registered or when you tried to log in. Click the "?" button next to the Password field on the Login page to have a temporary computer-generated password emailed to you. Enter the temporary password exactly as it is written, not including the quotes around it. You will be prompted to change your password to something personal after you log in using the temporary password. 3. Like most commercial web sites, our site requires the use of browser "cookies". You must have browser cookies enabled. In Internet Explorer, this means that you can NOT have your "Security" setting at "High". We recommend setting the IE Security level setting to Medium or Low. Unlike its name implies, doing so will not compromise the security of your web browser so long as you practice good, common sense web surfing. Just like virtually all large e-commerce sites, our site uses cookies to track who has logged in. 4. If you are using MacOS, our site does not support versions of Netscape Navigator below 6.0. If you are using an earlier version of Netscape, you'll have to upgrade to a newer version, or a different MacOS browser, such as Internet Explorer 7, Apple Safari, or Mozilla Firefox. One of these suggestions should solve your problem. If none of these suggestions work, please contact contact@FaithClipart.com and provide the details of your Login problem. Q: I can't log into my account. What's wrong? A: Login problems are usually caused by a variety of simple problems. Here are the top few: 1. Your login (email address) and password are case sensitive. This is usually due to a typo in your password, either when you initially registered or when you tried to log in. If you wish to reset your password, click the Forgot Password? button under the Password field when logging in. An e-mail will be sent to your e-mail address containing a temporary password. Enter that temporary password exactly as it is written, not including the quotes around it. You will be prompted to change your password to something personal after you successfully log in. 3. Q: How do I download images? A: The first thing you would want to do is to look over the preview pages (the ones with a lot of thumbnails of the pictures on them) and select the one you are interested in downloading. Once you click on that image, you will be taken to another page with a much larger version of the same image. This page will also display several download options that are available, located directly above and to the right of the image at hand. At this point in time, there are two methods of downloading the picture. It is important to keep in mind that if you are currently within the free trial period, use of either of these processes will result in the download limit amount being affected, and ultimately reducing the remaining amount of downloads available. The first method of downloading is to simply click on one of the download buttons and to follow the steps to save it to your computer. This is the most versatile option since it has several choices of file types and allows you to select the best fit for your project. The second method is to click on the actual image itself. When clicked on, you will be taken to an even larger view of that same image. This now counts as a download because you are able to right click on this image and save it to your computer as a JPG or even copy/paste it to another location such as a word processor, art program, etc. It is very crucial to understand that by clicking on that image, even if you do not save it or copy/paste it, it will count as a download. The same goes for clicking a download button and then not completing the action. Those will count toward the free trial limit as well. Q: I'm having trouble downloading an image from FaithClipart.com. What should I do? A: First, make sure you are aware of where your browser is downloading images to on your hard drive. Second, see if you can go to other web sites while holding down the Shift key...this will insure that your internet connection is still working by forcing a web site to download from the server. Third, if you get a large image in your browser when you click a JPG download link, you'll need to manually download the large image by right-clicking (Windows) or holding the mouse down (MacOS) on the image until a popup menu appears. Then, choose the option which saves the link to your hard disk. Finally, you might also try using a different browser or browser version to access your FaithClipart.com account. For Windows users, you can use Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, or Mozilla. For MacOS 9 users, you can use Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. For MacOS X users, you can use Safari, Internet Explorer, or Mozilla. If you are sure that a particular image is not downloading at all, please contact us at contact@FaithClipart.com. Q: I have successfully downloaded an image, but it appears to be corrupted. What should I do? A: First, try downloading the image again and see if it appears to be corrupted also. Second, see if you can download and view other images from FaithClipart.com, using the same file format (either JPG or EPS) as the file in question. If you still believe an image is corrupted, please contact us at contact@FaithClipart.com. Q: Does FaithClipart.com provide support in using its images in other applications? A: No. We can point you in the right direction, but support for use of our images in 3rd party products should be provided by the maker of those products. However, if you believe an image from FaithClipart.com is corrupted, please contact us at contact@FaithClipart.com. Q: Why do images I've downloaded have "FaithClipart.com" or some other watermark obscuring them? A: Our preview images have watermarks since they are not intended to be downloaded and used; they are low-resolution images and intended for onscreen viewing only. If you wish to download a particular image for your use, click the EPS or JPG 'download' button below the image on the Image Details screen. Q: What are templates? A: Templates are layouts that have already been designed and are ready to be personalized and printed. These can be downloaded and opened with Microsoft Word, personalized, and then printed. Q: Can I edit a template? A: Yes, you can edit and print a template. Simply select the template you would like to edit by clicking on the corresponding download option. Once you download the template, you can open it in Microsoft Word and can personalize, save, and print the finished design. Q: How can I contact FaithClipart.com? A: You can contact us via e-mail at contact@FaithClipart.com. This is the most effective method since we can correspond back and forth with you any time. We are also reachable by telephone at (541) 552-1100. If you call us and reach our voicemail, please leave a detailed message including you first and last name, e-mail address (spelled out), and the zip code that you provided us. If you are calling outside of the United States, please specify the country along with the state/province you supplied us during the registration, instead of the zip code. We will respond back to your voicemail through e-mail, so it is very important that we have that e-mail address correct.
