A Tribute to George Bennard
The Old Rugged Cross has been one of the most beloved songs in all Christendom since it was written by Reverend George Bennard in 1913. As a tribute to the song, to the writer and to the Cross of Jesus Christ, a large wooden cross and The Old Rugged Cross Museum were dedicate near Rev Bennard's home just after his death in 1953.
